Our wedding - 11th of February 2012

The wedding was this weekend. I had so much to do before that I didn't find time to update you on the preparations.

We got married on Saturday in Chambéry, with most of our closest family present. We were 20 people, so it was a small wedding. We'll have the big church wedding in Oslo with proper celebration next year, after Mini is born, so that we can really make the most of it.

But this wedding was still wonderful, we had a great day from the morning until late at night - it was actually much more wedding like and exceptional that what I could have imagined, considered it was quite small and not in a church.

I am not going to tell you so much about the details, only that we had the ceremony in town hall, followed by champagne (/orange juice for me) and speeches at home, before an amazing meal that only the French can do at Lamartine at Bourget-du-Lac. After we went to our friend's bar, La Bulle, in Chambery, where all our French friends were waiting for us to celebrate with champagne (/perrier). We stayed until 3am and had a great time.

  

It was a day I will always remember, thanks to our wonderful families. Today it's three days after and I am still exhausted, but that only means it was a success :-)
